Modern fast action rods can shoot a lot of line, but the sacrifice they make for their power and speed is sensitivity. The power fibers of bamboo transfer force and vibrations directly from the cast and the fish to you back to your hand.
The guide spacing is optimized for performance on all of my fly rods to bring out the action and character of each taper. All of my rods are accented with an agate stripping guide and use only premium components.
