Not only did he go completely out of his way to give us a wonderful experience on an impromptu trip, his rods are a work of art. We were beyond impressed with the quality, detail and craftsmanship of all three rods we fished with. He is truly passionate about this and it shows in the unique products he creates. The balance of the 4 weight rod was perfect, the red accents on this rod also gave a very nice and unique finish. The 5 weight was very slightly tip heavy which I found to be very nice controlling a large amount of line on a big open type of river such as the places here near Bosie. Although bamboo has an almost elegant appearance compared to the uniform steel rod, the 5 weight felt very substantial and smooth. The 4 weight is snappy and effortless, I would love to use it in the tighter holes on smaller rivers at home in the back country. We will be ordering flies from Trevor exclusively after we experienced the quality and selection he had today. Truly exceptional, leaving a five star review is not good enough.”
